Personal Art Therapy: Solution-focused counselling and therapy

Solution-focused Art Therapy highlights the positive resources and opportunities for change which are available now. The past can also be discussed if it is necessary and relevant in the customer’s own opinion. But then, the starting point of the work is to identify the customer’s resources, not to focus on problems.

In human oriented solution-focused art therapy, the client’s images are not analyzed or interpreted. Important is what meaning the author of the image gives to his own work. The solution-focused questions related to the discussion of the image serve as tools. The client is heard as an expert in his or her own life and to take an active part in planning their own future and setting their goals.

Therapy is right for you who wants to support reflection on an issue or decision or for dealing with emotions. Solution-focused art therapy can also be applied at turning points in life, in a changed life situation or in seeking a new direction; in relation to work or studies.

My therapy guidance is short-term 1-10 times and solution-focused art therapy. Therapeutic art work is also well suited, among other therapies, to strengthen resources. The purpose of therapy guidance is to help you find the right solutions and perspectives for you in new life situations, places of change or challenging places in everyday life.

The sessions for the first half of 2022 are part of the study practice. The rates correspond to this and the rates will change in 2022 as part of my graduation.

How the private session goes:

1. Get to know each other and discuss your situation 15-20 min.

2. Working 25-30 min.

3. Final discussion 15-20 min.

The solution-focused therapy process for one client takes 3-10 times. Each session is a confidential one-to-one session. So please buy already now minimum of 3 sessions.


This counselling and working does not have anything to do about art techniques, skill of drawing or knowledge of colours. Don’t feel pressure to make aesthetic art pieces. This is not the place for it. Come as you are!

Art therapy is not psychotherapy, and is not intended for serious mental health conditions, or for people with a history of untreated trauma or abuse. You can choose 3 or 7 session combo and top up them with individual sessions.

Can I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my purchase?

You can't get refund from already paid Art Therapy session, but in case you have bought 3 or more sessions and you feel like you don't want to continue after the second session then your upcoming session will be refunded.

Can I purchase coaching more than once?

Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of coaching more than once, simply purchase the coaching again. Three time coaching is highly recommended since on the first session we will determine and talk about your goals.
